- Master of Surgery [MS] may be a 3-year full-time postgraduate course. Eligibility for an M.B.B.S degree from a medical college recognized by MCI with 50% of marks is eligible for this course and 40% of marks for candidates who belong to SC/ ST/ OBC quota.

MS: Eligibility
- Candidates completed their M.B.B.S degree from a medical college recognized by MCI are only eligible for Master of Surgery course.
- Candidates completed their M.B.B.S course with 1 year of internship are also eligible for MS course. Candidates who have passed their bachelor’s degree with 50% of marks(general quota) and 40% of marks(SC/ST/OBC candidates) are eligible for this course. The percentage may vary from one college/university to another.
Re-Admission (after a break of study):
- Candidates who have break of 5 years after completing their M.B.B.S studies from the date of application can also apply for this course.
