MEDICAL ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS

Medical, as a profession, has always been one of the most popular choices among scholars. The no. of aspirants for medical entrance exams is rising every year.

After the implementation of the National Medical Commission (NMC) Act, 2019, and the foundation of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET), all the other medical exams are discarded. Thus, admission to the MBBS course in AIIMS (New Delhi), JIPMER, and similar to AIIMS Institutions also will be made through NEET.

Through Medical Entrance Exam, one can get admission to any Medical and Dental Programs of several national and state-level universities and colleges.

List of Medical Entrance Exam 2023

Below are the lists of all the medical entrance exams of every level (national and university) for the academic year 2023-2023.

National Level Exams 2023

NEET UG 2023

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is the only national-level examination for selection to UG medical courses (MBBS, BDS, and others) proposed by all private & govt. institutions within the country.
It's an offline (pen & paper) exam conducted once a year by the National Testing Agency. Students who have succeeded in the class 12th examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology/ Biotechnology subjects with a min. total of 50% marks are only qualified for the exam.

NEET PG 2023

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Post-Graduate) is managed by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) for admission to MD/ MS/ PG Diploma/ DNB courses.
It's a single-day, single-session examination handled through computer-based mode.
Candidates must possess an MBBS degree from an approved institute so as to use it for the NEET PG exam.
Any Ineligibility found at any stage of the exam will cause cancellation of candidature.

NEET MDS 2023

National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination MDS (NEET-MDS) is also managed by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).
The examination is conducted once a year for admission to postgraduate dental courses (MDS).
The counseling and selection process of the examination is performed by the Directorate of General Health Services.
It's an online mode test (Computer Based Test). The aspirants must have a BDS degree.

NEET SS 2023

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - Super Speciality is conducted for admission to DM/ M.Ch. courses.
All Private Medical Colleges/ Deemed Universities and the Armed Forces Medical Services institutions allow the NEET SS scores for admission to their Super Speciality courses.
The examination is managed by NBE.

AIIMS UG 2023

AIIMS is a medical entrance exam organized by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
Through this examination, students can get admission to any undergraduate medical courses (MBBS).
Candidates who want to continue the MBBS course from the institutions of AIIMS can apply through NEET 2023 exam.

AIIMS PG 2023

AIIMS PG Exam may be a national level postgraduate examination organized for admission by AIIMS, New Delhi.
This examination is organized for choosing students for admissions into MD/MS/MDS/DM/M.CH Courses offered by AIIMS institutions across the country.
Application releases via online mode only and examinations are held twice a year within the month of January and July.

JIPMER UG 2023

JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute Postgraduate Medical Education & Research) regulates the medical entrance exam for providing admission within the MBBS program.
Students who will successfully clear the NEET 2023 entrance test get admission to JIPMER's various campuses situated in Puducherry & Karaikal.

JIPMER PG 2023

JIPMER PG is a national level exam which is conducted by the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research for admission to its postgraduate courses.
Students trying to find admissions in MD/MS courses may appear for this exam.
JIPMER PG exam is conducted twice in a year (January & July). This is an online exam (Computer Based Test) of 3 hours with objective type questions.

AFMC MBBS-2023

Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) offers education within the field of medicine.
This college provides admission within the MBBS course on the basis of NEET Scores to 130 MBBS seats including 10 seats for SC/ST candidates (105 seats - boys & 25 seats - girls).
Styudents can register online only after the beginning of the registration process.

PGIMER 2023

Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) conducts university level examination to provide admissions into MD, MS, DM, MDS, and other PG courses.
Students can register for this exam online. This examination is held twice a year in January and July.

NIMHANS PG 2023

NIMHANS PG examination is conducted by The National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) for admission to M.Ch. Neurosurgery/ DM Neurology and MD Psychiatry courses.
The exam is conducted in the month of January and July every year as a computer-based test that contains Multiple Choice Questions.

DNB CET 2023

Diplomate of National Board Centralized Entrance Test (DNB CET) is a national level exam conducted by the National Board Of Examination (NBE). This exam is held twice a year in the month of January and July.
Through the DNB CET examination, aspirants can get admissions in DM/MCh and DNB (3 years) Super Specialty courses. Application releases through online mode only.

University Level MBBS Admission 2023

AMU MBBS 2023

Aligarh Muslim University, popularly known as AMU, is a public university situated in the middle of Doab, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.
To get admission into these courses is only possible through NEET Scores.
This university doesn't organize any entrance exam for offering admission in MBBS & BDS courses.

DU MBBS 2023

The University of Delhi offers UG and PG courses within the field of medical, engineering, science and commerce.
Admission to MBBS course within the constituent colleges of Delhi University is completed on the idea of NEET Scores.
There is no separate pre-medical exam is conducted to provide admission.

IPU CET MBBS-2023

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University offers admission to students in the MBBS program on the basis of NEET scores.
The application for admission to MBBS will be released through online mode. The application form are going to be filled and submitted the appliance via online mode through the web site .

CENTAC-2023

Central Admission Committee (CENTAC) is the main authority that has the responsibilities of directing admission to UG programs offered by various government colleges of Puducherry and other states/UT’s in the medical, engineering & other fields.
Admission to the MBBS program is given on the basis of NEET scores.

BVP CET-2023

Bharti Vidyapeeth Deemed University doesn't organize any entrance examination for providing admission in MBBS & BDS courses.
Candidates have to qualify for the NEET 2023 national level examination to get admission into these courses.
The admission and counseling process is performed by MCC (Medical Common Counselling).

MU OET 2023

Manipal University offers multiple UG and PG courses within the area of medical, dental, etc. No entrance examination is conducted by the university for admission in medical courses.
Admissions in PG medical courses are going to be done through NEET PG and MBBS & BDS admissions are going to be given through NEET scores. the appliance form is going to be filled online.

SAAT MBBS 2023

Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University offers various UG, PG, and other courses within the field of medical, engineering, computer applications, etc.
For admission in MBBS & BDS courses offered by various constituent institutions of the university students need to clear the NEET examination. Applications releases via online mode.

CMC Vellore 2023

CMC Vellore (Christian Medical College) may be a Christian minority, educational college which offers admissions to students in various UG, PG courses, diploma & other courses in medical field.
The authority will release the appliance form online only. Admission to MBBS course are going to be done on the idea of NEET Scores followed by a flair test set by CMC.

KIITEE 2023

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology allows admission in MBBS, BDS, PG Medical & PG Dental on the basis of the NEET entrance exam.
Candidates have to qualify for the NEET exam to get admission in medical and dental courses. The application form will be accessible online mode through the website.
