College of Physicians & Surgeons (CPS) of Mumbai is an examining body established in 1912 by Surgeon General Sir H. W. Stevenson for meritorious doctors of allopathy wanting to have PG medical qualification before rendering the medical services to the society.

CPS is one among the oldest Post-Graduate Medical educational institutions in India empowered to confer qualifications (LCPS, MCPS, Diplomas, FCPS) by Indian Medical Degree Act 1916.

CPS is an examining body supported by the Royal College of Surgeons of England and it's just like the National Board of Examination (Estd. By Act of Parliament, Govt. of India).

CPS is an autonomous body governed constitutionally by elected 24 members (faculties of various specialties) with strong democratic traditions.

CPS/FCPS Admission 2022

CPS is a diploma course that incorporates the study of pg medical courses. The diploma course is of two years duration. Mainly, the course includes the specialization of medical branches after MBBS.

The course study involves 90% practical and 10% of theory. The students who are not eligible in NEET PG also can take admission in CPS and FCPS courses.

CPS is a PG advance course training of advance medical profession and training. It has consideration and accreditation in certain areas of India, including government, semi-government, and private medical hospitals.

The central aim of providing CPS and FCPS courses is to provide medical specialist doctors in rural and sub-urban areas of India. Because of the lack of MD, MD, DM, MCH doctors in India. CPS and FCPS doctors are the main doctors who serve in this area.

Get CPS Admission 2022.

CPS is an examining body according to the Royal College of Surgeons of England and it’s on the lines of the National Board of Examination (estd. By Act of Parliament, Govt. of India).

It is compulsory for the doctors who are interested in CPS and FCPS admission 2022 to fill the form. We provide direct and confirmed FCPS and CPS admission 2022.

Eligibility criteria for Cps/FCPS Admission 2022

The key eligibility criteria for FCPS and CPS admission 2022 is that the candidate must have passed MBBS or another equivalent degree recognized by Medical Council of India.

The student must get an eligibility certificate from CPS at the time of enrolling in post-graduate courses (certificate course/ diploma/ fellowship) in CPS and FCPS courses.

If the candidates have passed the mcps examination before 2009, then the an eligibility certificate is not required.
